Mike Wallace to interview Iran's President?

Not be outdone by the now disgraced Dan Rather's interview of Saddam, Mike Wallace says he is close to obtaining an interview with Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. This should be classic.

Wallace interviewed the late Ayatollah Khomeini after the overthrow of the Shaw in 1979. I remember his questioning of the old head Nutter in Iran, he was trying to ask why people thought Khomeini was crazy without getting taken out back and shot in the head. Wallace may be old school liberal, but the guy has guts. I wonder if he will ask Ahmadinejad the same question?

"President Ahmadinejad, there are many people in America and throughout the world who think you are, forgive me Mr. President, an Islamic nutjob of the first order, how do you respond to that?"

"Well Mike, sticks and stones may break my bones, BUT THE STREETS WILL RUN RED WITH THE BLOOD OF THE INFIDELS!"

Good luck Mike, good luck.
