The Da Vinci Code, the wrong crowd for a premier, unless...

If you are going to premier your film to the ultra chic and sophisticated crowd at Cannes, you better have something more provocative than a married Jesus. The reception among the Cannes crowd was rather tepid. If Spielberg, Howard and Hanks wanted to woo the French Riviera and Hollywood types they should have made the movie's plot revolve around Jesus being gay.

That's right, The Brokeback Code.

At least co-star Ian McKellen would have been happy.

I am sure Hollywood is working on that one too.
