Two suspects were arrested Thursday morning theft of irrigation pipe, arrested at gunpoint by Yolo County sheriff's deputies just south of Zamora. According to Capt. Larry Cecchettini the theft was reported at 11:30 a.m. when a local farmer viewed two people taking the pipe, later valued at around $1,200. The witness followed the suspects while calling notifying authorites by cell phone.

Things you don't have to worry about when you live in the city.
Someone stealing your irrigation pipe. This is no trivial matter, these jackasses cut up the pipe and take it to the recyclers where they get scrap price for it. I hope they make these guys irrigate the farmers field for two seasons to pay back the price of the pipe, plus 6 months in jail. That would be a fitting sentence.
