I just walked back in the door from the Woodland Republican Club's picnic at Fern Park. I enjoyed the presentation given by Tom Del Baccaro the Vice Chair of the California Republican Party speaking about strategy and ideas for the 08' campaign. Tom was preceded by Greg Aghazarian who is running for the 5th Senate District.
While the local Democrats are meeting to discuss a liberal book exchange club and review Michael Moore's 'Sicko', the Yolo County Republicans are looking forward to the next election and finding ways to reach out to the community. Oh and having a few heavy hitters stop by to meet the folks who walk the precincts and stuff the mailers. Not bad for a small town Republican Club. Not bad at all.
