Howard Dean - We won't win in Iraq

Not if Howard Dean has anything to say about it. Hat Tip to Pappy.
Saying the "idea that we're going to win the war in Iraq is an idea which is just plain wrong," Democratic National Chairman Howard Dean predicted today that the Democratic Party will come together on a proposal to withdraw National Guard and Reserve troops immediately, and all US forces within two years.
Another proud day for the Democratic Party. Surrender and retreat, that is their vision of US foreign policy. How inspirational, and French for that matter.

Howard, here is something you should be aware of.

Sanity 403
Insanity 3

More like fear, 403-3. There were certainly a large nuber of sane votes.

Sadly a large number of those who voted with the majority were hours earlier were making some amazing comments about the war, and the president. They were too fearful to put them on the record, and too fearful to face their constituents when they had no basis for those comments.
