Radio Iran - All Cat Stevens, all the time.

In a move sure to inflame the 'youts' of Iran, President Ahmadinejad has banned all Western music from the Iranian airwaves. What does this nut job have against Kenny Chesney?
"Blocking indecent and Western music from the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting is required," according to a statement on the council's official website.

Ahmadinejad's order means the IRIB must execute the decree and prepare a report on its implementation within six months, according to the newspaper.

On further review it seems that he wants ban all foreign music, even Kenny G! Oh the horror of it. Young impressionable Iranian youths listening to the smooth Jazz hits of Kenny G and his sax.

Maybe its some kind of ban on torture. Kenny G falls into that category for me.
I wonder if Senator McCain has looked into this?

On XM Satellite Radio's ''Real Jazz'' channel they have a promo. If you like Kenny G, this is not the channel for you.
