Ted who?

A brief note to the democrats, when you are trying to pull off a sex scandal on the eve of election to suppress the evangelical vote, you might try naming someone the average evangelical has heard of. Ted Haggard? Whatever.

I see that CNN is going into full scale republican bashing mode early. "Broken Government" is being aired back to back tonight. CNN, fair and balanced as usual.

Makes you wonder why CNN is always on the basic cable and you have to pay for Fox

It is a known fact that if any Democrat wins it is a win for the terrorist. The Democrats truly want America to lose the war. They do not care about this country or the people in it only getting and holding power. How can anyone vote for a Dem when it is obvious they really want to destroy America and make it easier for terrorist to kill us all?

Democrats hate the military and will knowingly try to weaken the country. I really think they are working with the terrorist.

Most of the Republicans are corrupt but at least they have morals (Christian) so voting for corrupt Republican is better than voting for a Dem working for terrorists.

While I do suspect the hard left of the Democratic party would like to see the war in Iraq fail for a number of reasons, chief among them is to damage the President in any way they can, I think it is pure fiction to think that Democrats are working with terrorists. I know at times emotions get stirred up and we want to assign the worst of intention to the opposition, but this kind of rhetoric does much more damage to those who see the war as something that must be won. I know many democrats, and as misguided as they are, the vast majority want a strong and thriving America. Their idea of a strong and thriving America is substantially different from mine, complete with higher taxes, socialized medicine and a pro-homosexual agenda taught in our schools from kindergarten to college.

Just as there are those on the far right who I disagree with strongly, there are also those on the far left who truly think this nation is guilty of every crime known to mankind. They want America torn down, broken apart and punished. You can see these folks over at Moveon and kos, they are bitter and filled with hatred for America. These socialists are not the 60 year old, service industry, union worker who votes democratic because he thinks Nancy Pelosi is looking out for him, these folks are behind the lecterns at your local college and living in Malibu and Berkeley.

As far as the corrupt Republicans go, I would suggest you might keep party affiliation from this title. Ever hear of the $90,000 in cash wrapped in foil kept in a freezer? That was not a Republican. I would use the term corrupted politicians. I bet every member of Congress once had an honest zeal to do what's right. The longer they serve and the more power they get, the further away from these principals the get.
It is sad, but it's nothing new and certainly does fall down part lines.

Power corrupts. Which is why a change is neccessary. The Dems need to win to balance the absolute power that is corrupting the Republican party.
