I am not at all sure of the reason one might ever need a racial slur database, but rest assured, it exists. Browsing through the list I did find one that made me laugh. The word Democrat is a racial slur used against blacks?
Who makes up the list? Is it official? Can I get offended when someone calls me a portagee- bog trotting -surrender monkey?
I probably wouldn't, it's not a very effective taunt.

Are you portuguese? Maybe if you were you would
understand how be called and referred to as a Portagee (refers to being dumb and backword) or substitute Pollock would be offensive. Maybe you've never experienced any racial prejudice lucky you, but for those of us who have it is not pleasant, especially since it usually occurs when your young so it can have harsh effects. And I do take offense when someone calls me a Portagee.
Paul, I am Portuguese, my mother's maiden name was Silveira. I am a Portagee. I have been called racial names, but you know what, I have never been a 'victim' of racism, simply because I refuse to be one.
